What every football prop bingo square means

A football prop bingo card is dealt at random from the 114 squares below, and every one of them is marked automatically from the live NFL play-by-play — nothing to tap, nothing to claim. These are the rules the system actually applies, written from the code that applies them, so a square fires when this sentence is true and not otherwise.

Every line below was fitted against all 286 completed games of the 2025 NFL season — not guessed, and not set to make a card feel good. One season rather than a decade of playoffs, deliberately: the rule book moves, and the 2024 dynamic kickoff turned “a kickoff returned past the 25” from a coin flip into something that happens in every game. A ten-year playoff cohort would band this card against a game nobody plays any more — and 286 games is the larger sample besides. Looking for a different card? the baseball PROP squares are here; the football EVENT squares (things that happen) are here.

Half the card is waiting, and that is the game.

A prop is a question with two sides, and you hold one of them. Total points OVER 44.5 ticks the moment the 45th point is scored; Total points UNDER 44.5 cannot tick until the final whistle — so it shows as waiting rather than as missed, because it has not lost, it has not been asked yet. The other half of that is the part worth watching: the instant the 45th point goes up, the UNDER turns red. It is finished, the card says so, and nobody is left thinking they are still in it. Some squares settle even earlier — anything about the first quarter is answered when the quarter ends, and the half-time pair at half-time. Every line is a half — 44.5, not 44 — so no square can push, and the two sides of a question can never both win or both lose.
