Grab your link
Sign in and open Refer & earn. Your link and your code are already there — there is nothing to apply for.

They sign up
Anyone who follows your link is attributed to you for 90 days. They can also type your code at sign-up if the link got lost in a group chat.

They run a pool and pay
Nothing is earned on a sign-up alone. The reward is tied to a real purchase, which is why it is worth something.

Your credit arrives
It shows up straight away as pending and becomes spendable after a short hold covering the refund window.
Questions people actually ask
Is the reward cash?
No. It is credit against your own ChooseASquare purchases — a Contest Pass, an add-on or a plan. It cannot be withdrawn, which is also why there is no tax paperwork and nothing to claim.
Do I have to be a paying customer to refer?
No. Anyone with a ChooseASquare account can refer, including a free one. You can earn credit before you have ever paid us anything.
When does it actually land?
When the person you referred pays for their first contest — not when they sign up. It appears immediately as pending and becomes spendable after a short hold covering the refund window.
What happens if they get a refund?
The reward is reversed. If we later win a chargeback dispute it comes back. We would rather explain that plainly here than surprise you with it later.
How long does my link last?
Somebody who follows it stays attributed to you for 90 days, and an account can only ever be referred once. If two people share a link with the same person, the first one counts.
Can I refer myself, or my own second organization?
No. A referral has to be a different person paying with their own account. Self-referrals are reversed when we find them, and we do look.
