FAQ
Classic Squares, answered
What is a Classic Squares contest?
It’s the game everyone knows — a 10×10 grid (100 squares) for a single game like the Super Bowl. Each row and column gets a random digit 0–9 for each team, and the square where the teams’ last score digits meet wins each period.
How are the numbers assigned?
Numbers stay hidden while people claim squares, then are drawn at random when the grid locks (you control the timing). You can also draw on demand or enter numbers manually.
Can I run it just for fun instead of a fundraiser?
Yes. Set your cut to zero and the whole pot pays out to winners — ideal for an office pool, watch party, or a game with friends. Keep a cut if you want to raise money.
How do payouts work?
Pay out by final score on the free plan, and add quarter/halftime/reverse-score payouts on paid plans. You set whether each payout is a percentage of the pot or a fixed amount, and how much your program keeps first.
Is it free, and do players pay a fee?
You can run Classic Squares on the free Kickoff plan and keep 100% of the pot. Players never pay a platform fee — they only pay you for their squares.
What if we sell out?
You can release another 100-square grid — manually or automatically once a grid hits a sold threshold — to keep selling.
